About Me

Hi and welcome — I’m so glad to have you here.

I’m drawn to the space where the practical meets the mystical - where insight, science, and lived experience come together in the body. My work is rooted in inquiry as much as intuition. I value understanding why things work, but I’ve learned that insight alone isn’t transformative unless it is felt, practiced, and integrated.

For over 20 years, I’ve been devoted to movement, healing, and personal exploration. Having moved through major life transitions - including losing over 80 pounds and redefining my relationship with my body and work - I understand how vulnerable and courageous real change can be.

I support people in reconnecting with their bodies as a source of wisdom rather than something to control or override. Grounded in Buddhist philosophy, trauma-informed care, and nervous system education, my approach honours both cognitive understanding and embodied knowing.

I hold over 1,500 hours of yoga teacher training and am a Certified Reiki Master. I blend movement, breathwork, energy healing, and coaching into sessions that often become rituals - intentional spaces where healing is practiced, witnessed, and integrated into everyday life. Healing, to me, isn’t linear; it unfolds through relationship: with the body, the mind, and the deeper intelligence that lives beneath both.

I am the co-founder of North Ray Yoga in Los Angeles (formerly Modo Yoga LA), born from a deep recognition of how essential community and intentional healing spaces are. Whether guiding groups in studio settings or working privately, I help people navigate transitions, soften patterns, and rediscover strength that emerges from presence - at the edges of challenge and stillness. My work invites a return to balance, cultivating resilience, clarity, and authentic embodiment.

I’ve led coaching, yoga and running clinics and workshops across Canada and the US, teaching and presenting for organizations including Running Room, Modo Yoga, lululemon, Nike, Disney, and Spotify. I continue to learn from remarkable teachers, mentors, and everyday life - including my most humbling teacher, my son, Sebi.
